time is but a sad illusion
the cause of great confusion
to further approach death each day
why must it be this way
should not each day bring us closer to life
would that not rid this existances strife
might we see eternal love
hear the eternal song of a dove
linger peacefully in lifes new pace
bask in the serenity of a loves embrace
with no worry or care
without disease and despair

The first line of this actually popped in my head while writing another piece and i decided to break it off and make it something of its own and this is what i got.
